2. Scope<\/strong><\/p>

These terms and conditions govern all bookings made at Ch\u00e2teau de Scandaillac<\/strong>, operated by Purple Haven Sarl. They define the rights and obligations of both the establishment and the client in the context of a remote reservation througout the website, by phone or any other means.<\/p>

3. Booking Conditions<\/strong><\/p>

3.1 Booking process<\/p>

– Reservations can be made online, by phone, or by email. Availability and rates are displayed on our website or communicated upon request.<\/p>

– Guests must indicate their estimated arrival time when making the reservation.<\/p>

3.2 Booking confirmation<\/p>

A reservation is only considered confirmed once a confirmation email has been sent by the guesthouse and a credit card pre-authorization has been successfully processed.<\/p>

3.3 Credit card hold<\/p>

A credit card hold (pre-authorization) is required to validate your reservation. Your card will not be charged, but we reserve the right to charge part of the booking amount in case of:<\/p>

– late cancellation (at least 7 days<\/strong> before arrival day).<\/p>

– no-show on the scheduled arrival day.<\/p>

3.4 Check-in and Check-out<\/p>

– Check-in<\/strong>: from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM<\/strong>. No arrivals are accepted after 7:00 PM<\/strong>.<\/p>

– Check-out<\/strong>: from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM<\/strong>.<\/p>

4. Rates and payment<\/strong><\/p>

4.1 Rates<\/p>

Room rates include continental breakfast with local produce. Prices are quoted in euros (\u20ac) and include all taxes applicable at the time of booking.<\/p>

4.2 Terms of payment<\/p>

Terms of payment and prepayment vary according to the type of accommodation chosen. These details will be specified at the time of booking.<\/p>

5. Cancellation policy<\/strong><\/p>

– Cancellation free of charge:<\/strong> possible up to 7 days before arrival date<\/strong>.<\/p>

– Late cancellations or no-shows<\/strong>: the guest house reserves the right to deduct a portion of the reservation fee.<\/p>

6. House rules<\/strong><\/p>

6.1 Non-smokers<\/p>

The guest house is entirely non-smoking<\/strong>.<\/p>

6.2 Children<\/p>

– Children are welcome.<\/p>

– Cots<\/strong>: free on request, subject to availability.<\/p>

– No extra beds are available.<\/p>

6.3 Pets<\/p>

Pets are not allowed<\/strong> on the premises.<\/p>

6.4 Parties and events<\/p>

Parties\/events are not permitted in the Ch\u00e2teau except for privatization (to be discussed).<\/p>

6.5 Quiet hours<\/p>

For everyone’s comfort, quiet hours must be respected between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM<\/strong>.<\/p>

7. Liability<\/strong><\/p>

The guest house declines all responsibility in the event of:<\/p>

– Loss, theft or damage to guests’ personal belongings on the premises.<\/p>

– Non-compliance with the arrival or departure times set out in these conditions.<\/p>

8. Protection of personal data<\/strong><\/p>

The information collected at the time of booking is necessary for the management of stays and will only be used for this purpose. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD), customers have the right to access, rectify and delete their personal data by contacting Purple Haven Sarl<\/strong>.<\/p>

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction<\/strong><\/p>

These terms and conditions are governed by French law. In the event of litigation, and in the absence of amicable resolution, the competent courts will be those of the jurisdiction of the registered office of Purple Haven Sarl<\/strong>.<\/p>

10. Modification of terms and conditions<\/strong><\/p>

Purple Haven Sarl reserves the right to modify the present terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. The terms and conditions applicable are those in force at the time of booking by the customer. It is therefore advisable to regularly consult the terms and conditions available on the website.<\/p>
