Le Colombier is a vacation home in the heart of the Périgord Pourpre, nestled just steps from the Château de Scandaillac. This independent house combines the charm of Périgord stone with all the comfort of a modern vacation rental, close to Bergerac, the medieval bastide towns, and the banks of the Dordogne.
Inside, a vast, bright living room and a fully equipped kitchen invite convivial meals with family or friends. The house, with a living area of 172 m², has four bedrooms spread across three levels: two bedrooms on the ground floor served by one bathroom, and two bedrooms upstairs, each with its own bathroom. Ideal for a large family or several couples, it also offers two cribs on request for the little ones.
Outside, a pétanque court and private parking for three vehicles complete this vacation rental, designed for total self-sufficiency.
The true heart of life at Le Colombier, the private heated 12 x 6 pool invites relaxation from morning until evening. The shaded pool house offers an ideal setting to cool off after a day of visiting châteaux, medieval bastide towns, and canoeing on the Dordogne, or simply to enjoy the calm of the estate's large park.
Reserved exclusively for house guests, this private pool opens onto the surrounding countryside and makes all the difference for a family or friends' getaway: children can splash safely while parents relax on loungers, in the shade of the pool house or in the sun on the terrace.

Conditions
Arrival
From 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the latest.
When booking, please let us know your expected arrival time.
Departure
From 09:00 to 11:30
Deposit
A deposit of 500 Euros will be requested. It must be paid four weeks before your arrival. It is refunded within 7 days after your departure.
Payment
When booking, a 50% deposit will be requested. A payment link for the remaining balance and the security deposit will be sent to you four weeks before your arrival date. If your booking is made within four weeks of arrival, you will be asked to pay the rental fees, cleaning fees, and deposit all at once.
Cleaning fees
A cleaning fee of 300 Euros will be requested. It covers the full cleaning of the house and linens after your departure.
Cancellation
The rental is final, and neither the Tenant nor the Landlord may withdraw from it, except under the cancellation terms cancellation terms provided for the Tenant in the contract, or in the event of force majeure.
Breakfast
To be ordered the day before at the Château, for 10 Euros/person. Carefully prepared, breakfast includes fresh pastries, assorted breads, artisanal jams, seasonal fruit, cereals, fruit juices, and hot beverages.
Smokers/Non-smokers
The vacation house is non-smoking.
Children
Children are welcome. Two cribs are available free of charge. All cribs are subject to availability — please request them when booking.
We do not offer extra beds.
Pets
Pets are allowed in the vacation home, under the tenant’s responsibility.
Parties and quiet hours
Guests should avoid being noisy between 22:00 and 7:00.
Swimming pool
Open from May 1 to September 30.
